They are still baking in the old "Ofehüsi" (oven house). On special days, locals can bring their dough or cake to the Ofehüsi to have it baked. Would you like to experience how bread used to be baked in the little "Ofehüsi" in Aeschi? Book a tour on one of the dates and experience how a delicious oven-baked bread is made. While the bread is in the oven “Flammkuchen” is served with a drink. You get to take your fresh loaf of “braid” home with you.
Baking in the Ofehüsli is conducted in German, English and French.
